Makerspace Use and Access
- All patrons must have a valid Colleyville Public Library card or a valid Non-Resident Library Card which is in good standing to have access to the Makerspace.
- Patrons are required to sign the “Waiver and Release of Liability Form” form prior to using any Makerspace equipment. A parent or legal guardian must sign the “Waiver and Release of Liability Form” form for any patron under the age of 18 years of age prior to using any Makerspace equipment.
- Patrons under the age of 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 while visiting the Makerspace regardless of whether any tool, machinery, or equipment is being used by the child.
- Children under the age of 9 may not use or operate Makerspace equipment.
Equipment
2.25" American Button Machines button maker.
Materials
Patrons can use the Library's paper templates or provide their own paper. Button supplies (button pin, shell and cover) must be purchased from the library.
Cost
Cost: $0.25 per button.
Sessions and Reservations
This equipment may be booked for up to a 2 hour session.
Please check in with Library staff at the Makerspace staff desk upon your arrival. Staff will hold a machine for 15 minutes after the reservation time. If you do not check in within that time frame, you may be considered a no-show and could lose your reservation.
