Program Description

Event Details

Raised beds are much easier to work with than in-ground gardens — especially for those who have trouble kneeling or bending over. Straw bales are a quick, easy, and inexpensive alternative to building a raised bed! Learn how to save the costs of buying or building a frame or buying yards and yards of soil to fill it with. Your garden can be a single bale or many bales which can easily be arranged into any configuration and be placed on any surface, including a patio or driveway!

This class will be taught by Joyce Connelley of Marshall Grain Co.
